Make-at-Home Cosmetics: Moisturising and Regenerating Carrot Body Mask (tutorial)

Carrots © Vitaly Raduntsev - fotolia.com

This natural skin treat can be used on the arms, legs, chest, back and neck - and even the face, if you desire - to moisturise, soften, and help regenerate. In doing so, it has a freshening, brightening effect. Be sure to do this one in the bathroom where you can shower off afterwards!

Ingredients
Two bananas
Two carrots
Two eggs
Two tablespoons of honey
A few drops of olive oil

Utensils
Small bowl
Food processor

Method
Place the bananas, carrots, eggs and honey into a food processor. Blend until smooth. Transfer the contents to a small bowl, ready for application. This treat is ideal for use before a relaxing Sunday shower. To minimise mess, place a towel down and make the most of the twenty minute indulgence required by spending it listening to your favourite music away from noisy distractions. It can be smoothed on using your hands and massaged in for better effect. Remember to wash it all off!
