Make-At-Home Cosmetics: Restful Rosemary Toner (tutorial)

Why Restful Rosemary Toner? Because, quite simply, that’s what rosemary does best—it soothes, calms, and brings peace to your skin. Leaves it feeling like it is deeply rested. And this incarnation of rosemary brings sublime-smelling relief when you need it most, or day-to-day—whatever you wish.

Ingredients
Fresh Rosemary
Water

Utensils
A cup
A kettle of hot water
A glass storage jar or spray bottle

Method
Place some sprigs of rosemary into a cup and fill to the top with hot water. Exactly how much rosemary you use is up to you—you can make this a light, zesty toning water by using only a little rosemary or alternatively you can cram as much into the cup as you possibly can and treat yourself to a sensory indulgence—though when did an indulgence leave you looking so wonderful?

Once you’ve made up a batch, and you’ve left it to cool, strain the liquid into to a glass container or spray bottle. You can use this toner twice a day by spraying directly onto the skin or alternatively soaking a cotton wool pad in it and then swiping over the face.
